KARACHI: The legal fraternity on Monday observed a solidarity day with the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry and the Supreme Court against the onslaught on the judiciary.The lawyers boycotted court proceedings and vowed to defend the judicial institution. Court proceedings remained suspended at the Sindh High Court (SHC) and city courts; however, SHC judges heard urgent cases in their chambers.
