ISLAMABAD: Director General Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Arif Mahmood said on Thursday the pre-monsoon period will start during the last week of June this year. However, the pre-monsoon rain spells are likely to start from the first week of July, he said while talking to APP. The Director General Met department said the department will issue the predictions about expected rain spells as well as the intensity of rains during the pre-monsoon period within next three days.
