LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has asked Malik Riaz to disclose the names of all generals, politicians, bureaucrats and journalists who benefited from him.

Talking to the media at the Allama Iqbal International Airport on Wednesday, the PTI chairman, vowing to stand by the judiciary, said that allegations levelled against the chief justice were actually a mean to paralyse the superior judiciary of the country.

The entire Supreme Court, not the CJ alone, is the target, said Imran. He said if Arsalan Iftikhar was proven guilty, he should be punished but this issue shouldn’t be used to target the judiciary.

Imran also said that Malik Riaz had turned Pakistan into a ‘Neelam Ghar’ by buying politicians, generals, journalists and bureaucrats.

He said whereas all other political parties had benefited from Malik Riaz, the PTI was the only party that had not received any funding from him. Imran said an allegation by a Pindi politician that the PTI’s Pindi public meeting was financed by Bahria Town was a blatant lie.

Imran added that the solution to the country’s problems was free and fair elections. In reply to a question regarding the memo case, Khan said that President Asif Ali Zardari was to be blamed for the memorandum because he had appointed Husain Haqqani as the ambassador. Imran also said that the Sharif brothers were actually the real supporters of Zardari as they kept bailing him out whenever he ran into trouble.“I want to tell those sitting in Raiwind that there will be no Martial Law nor will the Army be called in,” he added.
