KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has assured that the government would resolve the problems of the businessmen community.
The president gave this assurance to the delegation of Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP), which called on him on Monday at the Presidential Camp office Bilawal House.
Finance Minister Senator Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Senator Dr Aasim Husain, Secretary Finance Abdul Wajid Rana, Member Internal Revenue Shahid Hussain, Governor State Bank of Pakistan Yasin Anwar and Chairman ECAP Malik Muhammad Bostan were present during the meeting.
The meeting was told that some of the problems of money changers had already been resolved on May 11 while remaining would be addressed at a forthcoming meeting of a committee consisting of SBP officials and ECAP representatives.
