The growing religious intolerance in India and the belligerent attitude of Indian forces in Kashmir should be a cause for concern in the UN. India is currently violating human rights and is posing a major threat to peace in South Asia.
International powers should intervene through the UN and ensure the Kashmir issue is resolved. If the organisation fails to maintain world peace, the purpose for which it was built, it will become as ineffective as the League of Nations.
