This is not a movie

Passing out parades of the police are an impressive affair. While the march-past is precision in motion, the choreographed display of action by commandos is straight out of a thriller movie. A commando squad flushes out terrorists from a makeshift house. Another engages in hand-to-hand combat with terrorists, vanquishing them in the blink of an eye. Still others somersault half a dozen times in as many seconds to blast terrorists in their hideouts while blood-curdling yells by the group as a whole send terror through the hearts of onlookers.
Choreographed affairs are great but when it comes to brass tacks somersaulting won’t help. This is good for movies where terrorists keep missing the somersaulting guys. What will help is focus on basic common sense, gut instinct, improvisation, teamwork, total familiarity with the weapon in hand, unwavering commitment and most important and difficult of all, eternal vigilance. Once these elements gel, positive results should and ought to be forthcoming.
