We have witnessed dozens of re-elections over the last two years. A country running mainly on foreign aid cannot afford huge sums of money spent on the re-election exercise on such a frequent basis.Instead of squandering taxpayers’ money this way runners-up in any constituency should be automatically promoted as winners.

We have witnessed dozens of re-elections over the last two years. A country running mainly on foreign aid cannot afford huge sums of money spent on the re-election exercise on such a frequent basis.
Instead of squandering taxpayers’ money this way runners-up in any constituency should be automatically promoted as winners. We are paying taxes from our hard-earned money for a better Pakistan – not for re-elections every few weeks.
