We learn etiquettes through our surroundings but mainly inherit them from our parents. But if a child has working parents his or her life is filled with many befuddling moments and the proper code of conduct remains unclear to them. The main reason for pointing this flaw is the conduct of our politicians as gleaned from current affairs programmes on the electronic media.
It seems they lack basic manners. As there are many institutions around the world that teach different subjects that are not exam-oriented but goal-oriented we can introduce subjects like ‘personal development’ that should be obligatory for everyone. I remember we had a behaviour class in schools. This course can now be taught to politicians.
