Casino controversy

Ever since Moin Khan visited a casino in Christchurch, our media has built a storm over the issue. Let me explain what a casino is because 90 percent of the people making a fuss have not visited a casino.
A casino is a facility that houses and accommodates hotels, restaurants, retail shopping or other tourist attractions. Some casinos are also known for hosting live entertainment events such as comedy shows, concerts and sporting events. Gambling is also part of the facility. Normally, it is a very lively place. Most casinos offer very attractive and cheap hotel facilities. There are world class restaurants – both very expensive as well as normal including fast food outlets. Major international conferences are held there. International sport events like boxing and wrestling are part of the casino culture. Mohammad Ali won most of his titles in casinos. Moin Khan has not committed any sin by having food in a casino. We should be very careful in passing judgement on others.
