Sheikh Rashid, the farzand-e-Rawalpindi, and Imran Khan, the pride of Pakistan, have joined hands. In my opinion it is the union of a big mouth and an inflated ego – a most lethal combination. Khan’s popular support combined with Rashid’s uninhibited speech is going to give a very tough time to the PML-N and the PPP. They better watch out now that the two giants have decided to join forces. Never mind what they thought of each other in the past. Nothing is final in politics.

Wonder of wonders, the PTI is likely to form an electoral alliance with Sheikh Rashid’s Awami Muslim League. Earlier, it was the MQM the PTI was cosying up to. Once I and many of my family members were strong supporters of the PTI, but not anymore. I think the system that was supposed to be changed by Imran Khan has finally changed Imran Khan.
You look at the party and all you see is the same old blame game, the same old shouting matches and the same old idiotic logics that have become the hallmark of Pakistani politicians.
