This is such a grim matter that I wish it were appropriate to request the chief justice of the Supreme Court to take suo motu action against the evil: unscrupulous "spiritual seers" and practitioners of "black magic" fleecing illiterate and superstitious people by promising to rid them of their troubles.

Not only do these extort money from their victims, they also engage in molestation of women and young children. We only hear about occasional action by police against them at local level, but then nothing happens, and the "seers" go scot free and continue their business. Pakistan can never have rule of law in the complete sense until something is done to put a stop to these individuals' evil practices.
