KARACHI: Punjab’s young skeet shooter Usman Chand improved his own record at All Pakistan Clay Shooting championship held in Jhelum from January 20-26.
“The previous record of 117/125 was set by Ahmed Sultan and me, and now I have scored 119/125 in the championship,” said Usman while talking to ‘The News’. “I am hoping to break this one as well in the national shooting championship next month,” he said. He added that he would participate in two international events this year to secure a place for Rio Olympics.
Usman achieved a landmark in the country’s shooting history when he won gold medals in all three shotgun events in the 32nd National Games held in 2012.
