KARACHI: Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has allowed Pakistan Juniors Tennis Forum (PJTF) to hold junior events’ series across the country.


President PJTF Arif Anis told ‘The News’ that they would hold the first event of the series in Islamabad from February 19-22. “The event will feature top 16 players, boys and girls, of under-14 category. It is to be held at the PTF Complex in Islamabad,” he added.


He said the title of the event is NBP Pakistan Juniors Clay Court Tennis Championship. “Players can send their entries either to Shehzad Alvi of PTF or to me directly,” said Arif.


“We have got the support of Sindh Tennis Association and National Bank of Pakistan in this regard,” added Arif.


He further said that later events of the series would be held in Lahore, Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar.
