KARACHI: Four provincial ministers of the PPP in the Sindh Assembly on Tuesday severely criticised the superior judiciary, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and other judges of the Supreme Court during the assembly session.
The ministers including Sharjeel Memon, Pir Mazharul Haq, Rafiq Engineer and Murad Ali Shah in their speeches criticised the judiciary and also hurled accusations against the judges.During the course of the Sindh Assembly session on Tuesday, Speaker of the assembly Nisar Khuhro read out Article 66 of the Constitution, and said that courts could not be approached over whatever said in the assembly report.On this the assembly members thumped the desks to express their pleasure. Later, the speaker adjourned the assembly session till today (Wednesday).
