QUETTA: Jamhoori Watan Party President Nawabzada Talal Akbar Bugti has said it is hoped that Nawaz Sharif would play his role in saving the country and the Punjab.
Addressing a press conference at the Bugti House here on Saturday, he said the day of 17 March would be remembered for-ever as a black day in the history of Balochistan, as back in 2005 on the same day, the army attacked the fort of Akbar Bugti on the orders of Gen Musharraf in which he escaped narrowly. However, some 66 innocent people belonging to Bugti tribe and Hindu community were killed in the attack.
The ëundemocratií government hit the people with rockets and bullets. ìIt is unfortunate that the dictator, who murdered democracy and innocent citizens, is also talking about giving rights to Balochistan,î he said.
ìWe respect the freedom of media and never support the ban on it. But media should also feel its responsibility. If court of law issues warrants against someone, he should not be invited in talk shows,î Talal added.
He increased the head-money for murdering Pervez Musharraf by announcing one billion rupees in cash and agriculture land of Rs 100 million would be given to his murderer and if any media person would kill him he would get 100 hector of land in Sanghar in addition to above incentive.
He said that present government gave nothing to the people of Balochistan except promises and pledges during four year tenure.
