Firecrackers worth Rs6mn recovered

KARACHI: Preedy police on Wednesday arrested nine firecracker dealers and recovered a huge cache of crackers worth Rs6million.

A team led by SHO Preedy Syed Shaukat Raza on tip-off raided Al-Amina Plaza at M A Jinnah Road and arrested nine dealers of firecrackers, including two real brothers Ayub Pathaka and Hanif Pathaka.

Police recovered firecrackers worth Rs6million stored in four rooms.
A case was lodged and further probe was under way.
