Firing incident kills three in Karachi

KARACHI: Various firing incidents across the city claimed three lives while two others sustained injuries, Geo News reported Monday.

According to police, a man identified as Hussain was killed in Machar Colony area of Kemari. His body was shifted to Civil Hospital where the relatives of deceased took the body without medico legal formalities.

Unknown gunmen also killed a man in Baldia whose identity could not be ascertained until the last report was filed.

A body was found in Saeedabad area while two persons were also injured in separate firing incidents in Lyari and at Shershah Road.

It is pertinent to mention that two policemen including a sub-inspector were killed in a firing incident at Nagan Chowrangi in the vicinity of Sir Syed police station late on Sunday night. Total seven people lost their lives throughout the day.
