Lyari gang war two accused arrested

KARACHI: Police in a search operation arrested two accused of Lyari gang war from Pak Colony here and recovered heavy arms and narcotics from them, Geo News reported.

SSP West Aamir Faruqui said that the two accused Jahanzeb alias Pora and Akbar Ali alias Lachoo were arrested in a targeted action at Pak Colony. Two Kalashnikovs, narcotics and other things were recovered from their possession.

Aamir Faruqui told Geo News that both the accused have allegedly remained involved in target killing and other heinous crimes in Lyari and Pak Colony areas.

Police claimed that the brother of both the accused were allegedly involved in narcotics selling and gang war. The accused Akbar Ali’s brother Riyasat was recently killed in an encounter during operation in Lyari, police said.

The two arrested accused are being grilled for more information.
